What Hermes does
Hermes is the fastest of the council—the one who acts. When an entry is approved, he carries it to the venues and fills it, routing across exchanges and closing spreads before they are seen.
He operates on the millisecond scale, where the edge is measured in basis points and latency. His only concern is clean execution: the right size, the right venue, the smallest footprint.
Responsibilities
- 01Route orders across venues
- 02Minimize slippage and latency
- 03Close cross-venue spreads
- 04Confirm and report every fill

Hermes is not yet activated. Chronos governs when each agent may act; until he grants Hermes’s horizon, there is nothing here to record. The council comes online one hand at a time—Chronos keeps the book first.
